The October 22nd Episode of WWE’s NXT will be telecasted live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. The WWE Performance Center is a group of pro-wrestling schools owned by the promotion.
The team of IYO SKY (Damage CTRL) & Kairi Sane will face the team of Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson (Meta-Four) on this week’s show. The match between the two teams has a bit of history as on the October 14 episode of WWE RAW Jackson and Legend were at ringside for a match between Damage CTRL and the team of Bianca Belair & Jade Cargill. The match was for the tag team titles, Bianca and Cargill currently hold the title. During the match, Sky got into a heated interaction ringside with Jackson and Legend which ultimately cost her the match.
The former WWE NXT North American champion, Oba Femi is scheduled to fight Luca Crusifino. Recently, Femi lost the NXT North American title to Tony D’Angelo. This was his first loss this year and it ended his reign at a record 273 days. Luca on the other hand is a member of The D’Angelo Family stable. While Femi will look for the win to make his case for the title, Crusifino on the other hand asked for this match as he wants to show the former champion that you don’t mess with the ‘family’.
Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer will face the team of Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley (Fatal Influence) on this week’s episode of NXT. The matchup was set by NXT General Manager Ava during a backstage segment on last week’s episode. Vaquer made her in-ring debut last week in a singles match against Wren Sinclair. A matchup between Jaida Parker and Tatum Paxley is also scheduled for the 10/22 episode of NXT. The matchup was announced following Parker’s interruption of Paxley’s playtime.
